Writing for Self-Reflection

Research shows that consistent self-reflective journaling in a focused manner can reduce blood pressure and boost the immune system. To explore this therapeutic practice, we'll use guided meditation, JournalCards and other inwardly-focused writing exercises. After, we'll discuss our experiences, and learn how this just-for-us writing can enhance our lives. For adult writers of all experience levels.

Event Details
Location. At Catalina State Park we'll write and share in the picnic area, under the shade of mesquite trees, near a panoramic view of Santa Catalina mountains. It's a very peaceful place! Nice restrooms are a 5-minute walk away. A day pass is included in the $46 price. Day passes are $7 per car (up to 4 passengers).
Special requests. We tend to be more grounded when we write using old-fashioned materials like pen and paper. Please bring a foldup chair, something to drink, and a notebook and pen. Please, no laptops or computers. Thank you!
